I got a four-pack of this wonderful brew today at the store. I enthusiastically give it two thumbs up...the Hallertau region is north of the new (yes, I know it opened in 1992 but I'll always think of it as the new one) Munich airport and is widely known as the best area for hops in Germany, if not the world (after all, who does beer better than the Germans?). Twelve pounds of hops per barrel!

This is a Kummelweck roll. I'm glad to say that I found some at Wegmans in Woodbridge, VA today. Best served with beef (as in beef on weck) and horseradish sauce.My father, in his best (or *worst*) "dad" joke, refers to these as Camelback rolls. Of course he likes the actor Clint Westbrick as well.
