Well, it's my turn.

Micah always has his CoTW on his blog, and has yet to post everyone's least favorite Heroes star, Ali Larter, as per my repeated suggestions. Well, her character isn't the best. But she's been in other things, like the James Van Der Dawson football movie (whipped cream) and Jay and Silent Bob (black pleather), and, like Micah's pic, the Final Destination franchise. I figured a "girl-next-door" pic is better than the pics of her character from Heroes, so here goes. The pic looks small in the post, so click on it for full-size.

More observations.
I went to visit an old friend in his new house in northern New Jersey today. Here are some things I found interesting:
-Police cars have red lights, not blue.
-New Jersey hasn't discovered that larger street signs make it easier to see what the name of the road is, especially if you've never been there before and actually need the signs.
-Liquor store clerks think you're nuts if you ask for Jack Daniel's green label. Apparently it's not sold in those parts. Unfortunately, there's no reason to buy black label to mix with Coke Zero. Here's a pic for those of you unable to enjoy this beverage, which is slightly cheaper due to the process in which the casks are stored in Lynchburg.

Happy Turkey Day. Here's a quote to help you get through the day:
Train don't run out of Wichita...unlessin' you're a hog or a cattle. People train runs out of Stubbville.

Hmmm.
I was reading up on Bill Buckley, and noticed this:
National Review's first issue was dated November 19, 1955.
Isn't this the date that Doc Brown invented the flux capacitor?

Some observations.
-One of the Prof's cars at my alma mater is sporting a Ron Paul sticker. Unexpected.
-I noticed a new driver's ed car at a county high school near me (Tucker). It's a smug-emitting Toyota Pious. Not the best idea from a fiscal sanity sense; also, do you want a fifteen-year-old driving a car that's silent below 20 mph??
-I've not seen any of the movies listed as Oscar contenders. I've not even heard of most of them. And I'm not bothered in the slightest.

I'm so sick of the smug "green" elitism on NBC.
As we learn daily of more and more scientists who are debunking the great global warming religion, we're inundated with this BS.
I'm going to go buy a hunter green 3/4 ton Suburban and tell everybody I have a green car.
Remember this: it's none of the government's business what kind of car you drive, what temperature you set your thermostat at, or what you do with your trash. Tell those socialist whackos to go live in Cuba with their commie dictator buddy.
Update: GM doesn't appear to sell green Suburbans anymore. Or Hummers, for that matter. That's upsetting.

Remember to do your civic duty!
My Delegate and Senator were running unopposed (no Dems around here!), but I wanted to vote for the Libertarian candidate for County Board of Supervisors. Why? This sticker came from the county's one BILLION dollar budget.
